Olivia is a writer and communications/public relations advisor from Toronto. Her work has appeared in The Globe and Mail, The Coast, The Walrus, Halifax Magazine, allNovaScotia and Medium.

She previously worked as a journalist reporting on health care, mining, the cannabis industry, tech and politics in Atlantic Canada. She holds degrees in history, political science and journalism. When she’s not working, writing or reading you can find her training to be a yoga teacher or listening to a comedy podcast.

Olivia, along with colleagues and classmates, has won an Atlantic Journalism Award and a Canadian Online Publishing Award.
